Key to success in any endeavor is defining the desired outcome. We develop a customized survey for your hiring team and identify key elements unique to your assignment. We draft a position profile that concisely outlines your organization, reporting relationships, responsibilities, required experience and critical factors for success.

Contact
We compile and have you audit a source list of targeted organizations. New project research is developed to identify potential candidates, and appropriate individuals are contacted about the position. Based on resumes, conversations and qualifications, we determine which individuals merit a personal screening.

Evaluations
When interviewing, we carefully review each candidate’s background to identify strengths and competencies, areas of development and motivations. We write narratives on interviewed individuals that include assessed abilities and interpersonal impressions, compensation information, and reasons for considering another position.

Results
Within 30 to 45 days of commencing the search, we issue a progress report that summarizes our work and findings-to-date. This includes detailed resumes, narrative summaries, and our recommendations on candidates to be interviewed by your organization. We assist with coordination of all meeting arrangements, and monitor feedback throughout the interviewing process to maintain momentum and candidate interest.

We conduct reference checks on the candidate you decide to pursue as a potential hire. Typically, we question former management, peers and subordinates. As checking references is an inexact science, we encourage our clients to participate in this process.

Outcome
When the offer is extended to your selected candidate, we assist with any negotiations and prepare candidates for exit interviews. This step significantly reduces the threat of successful counter-offers. After your chosen candidate has joined your organization, we follow up periodically to ensure that an appropriate match has been made.
